Cordon-Blue trained pastry chef Riley Emerson arrives in Aspen, Colorado for a summer season at the best restaurant in town, only to discover his jerk of a boyfriend has dumped him, leaving his heart and his summer plans in tatters. Doubting himself and longing for a change of pace, he takes a low-paying position as chef at a guest ranch, the Rocking Z. Hmm what a tricky question! I think, like men in uniform, cowboys are like nights in shining armour as they tip their hats to greet you, they are generally polite and courteous and have manners that may seem old fashioned to some but welcomed by many (especially me). Most of them are strong, from riding or handling livestock and then that moves me onto the jeans, sigh, need I say any more! Then they have horses, just like knights, and they come riding to the rescue in film and book, possibly real life as well with Texas Rangers?
I think they have, again like knights, been romanticised and they do have negative as well positive aspects (like everything) but isn’t there nothing more romantic than a man on horseback, imagine John Wayne coming to the rescue, Clint Eastwood’s steely blue stare, or the fun and frolics of Paul Newman and Robert Redford…

Why are cowboys sexy? Hmmm…for me, it’s more than just the clothes (which I do love), but the whole sweaty, hard-working vibe they give off. They’re kind of an American legend come to life, a symbol of strength and independence, and that’s pretty dang sexy. 😉

What I love about cowboys? Well…it’s Brad Pitt’s fault. Do you remember Legends of the Fall? I know..I know..I was 14 y.o. when I had the chance to watch it and since then, when I read books about cowboys, I see him: strong, long hair, pure beauty and very loyal.

Asking me what I love about cowboys is like asking to a Vampire likes the hunt. I grew up close to a ranch with 25 horses and cowboys were seen like gods. For me reading about cowboys has always been a pleasure. They’re so dedicated to their family and they’re pure MAN..sweet but strong at the same time and very loyal. too.

I like cowboys because they are generally hard working, work with animals, get to live on ranches, have horses and wear jeans and those sexy boots.

Cowboys are so sexy cause they have all those muscled from working the ranch. They also are usually sweet and honest hard working men. Add 2 to the story and you can’t go wrong!!!

I love the for their heart. They always seem to best for the people in their lives. They can be grouchy and/or come off mean but on the inside I feel they’re just a big ole cuddly bear.
